I spent a couple of hours this evening adding two features to NAudio that I have been meaning to add for a long time. They are two Windows Forms controls, one to display volume levels, and the other to display audio waveforms. They are still in a very raw state, and I will probably make some enhancements to their appearance as well as how they calculate their volume levels in the future, but they work pretty well for basic visualisation purposes. I'm also looking forward to creating their equivalents in WPF.
I've made a very short screencast to show them in action. Xcode run simulator. Watch it here: http://screencast.com/t/m13tSFGAG
Spice Waveform Viewer
Waveform Viewer (Scope) Data Logger. As soon as a user attaches an NTi Audio measurement microphone, the instrument will automatically switch to the 'Sound Mode'. The vibration meter becomes a multi-functional sound level meter with a wide range of measurement functions. It takes input from microphone of your PC and then converts it into voltage, which is then translate it in waveform over a graph. Visual Analyzer runs on Windows 9x ME, 2k, XP, NT, Server, Vista, 7, 8. Paragon ntfs 14 crack. Visual Analyzer 2014 version now available (for 64 and 32 bit platform), no longer compatible with Windows 9x. The samplingrate of 44100 means that the electric signal from the microphone is caught 44100 times per second. Or in another way: 44100 int-values in array represent a second of sound. If I set the samplingrate to 1000, every millisecond a currencyvalue is writen into an arrayelement. ThxALot in advance Dirk.
